Dr. Steven M. Guelff and his caring team are proud sponsors of Lindsey’s Wish, Inc. Lindsey Hammortee was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer, which she battled courageously for over two years. She passed away much too soon in December of 2012. It was her hope that her fight would inspire others to lend support to other children fighting cancer.
As a way of commemorating her journey, Lindsey’s Wish was established, and with its silent auction, it raises funds to assist children in Highlands County also battling cancer. Dr. Guelff had the pleasure of caring for Lindsey as a patient at Florida Braces, and to assist in honoring her wish, he provides a Smile Certificate that is sold at the annual Lindsey’s Wish Jewels and Jeans Gala. The certificate provides full orthodontic care to its recipient, and the money raised goes towards supporting the respectable endeavors of the foundation.
